Question and confusion about Bible?

God didn't write that, or any of the Bible even. Paul or a like-thinker wrote 1 Timothy. Paul was a misogynist living in a patriarchal society. It turns out that just because somethings in the Bible doesn't mean it's good. I mean it also promoted slavery. You should be skeptical of any argument that uses the Bible as an authority.
